Our Projects
We have three projects under development: EHR, Toolkit, and Radiology
EHR
EHR is a health toolkit meant to be efficient and user friendly. At its core, EHR is comprised of several web components which bind to form a synchronised product. Knowledge of JavaScript, along with some understanding of UI, HTML and CSS is required.

Toolkit
The Toolkit provides the core coding framework for EHR and Radiology. It comprises of a kit of healthcare services which can be implemented in hospitals and other health institutions. Most of the code is in the form of web components written in Polymer. To contribute to this project, one must have a thorough understanding of components, databases, and some knowledge of Java.

Radiology
(Unreleased)
Radiology is a product designed to help radiologists and imaging experts handle data and patient records more efficiently. It is still under development and is expected to be released soon. Radiology too is built using components, and uses Java too. Currently, Radiology UI and wireframing related contributions are preferred so as to finalise the project structure. Knowledge of the job descriptions of radiologists and substitient occupations is appreciated.

FAQ
-
polymerWhat is PolymerPolymer is a web framework used to create web components. We at LibreHealth prefer Polymer for all our projects as it helps maintain uniformity within the code. Polymer was originally created by a group of front end developers at Google, and has now evolved into a full fledged framework. It is very similar to Angular or Node, but more feature rich and readable.

group_addHow can I contributeLibreHealth values every single contribution you make. To contribute, fork the repository concerned, and make your changes locally.
Create a new branch on your fork and then submit a pull request to the master branch of the main repository. Also include a description of your changes and work, so that others know what you have contributed. -
codeHow do I help without having to codeWe welcome contributions from every corner of expertise, and not just code. For instance, you can help redesign the user interface of LibreHealth EHR or design artwork for the Toolkit. Alternatively, you can also write blog posts promoting LibreHealth and take up outreach related tasks.
